Andy joined Tadjer-Cohen-Edelson Associates, Inc. in 1997. He is a senior project manager in the firm. His skills and commitment have also earned him the position of Senior Associate in 2008.
Prior to joining TCE, Andy worked for various structural engineering firms including one year for Cagley Harman and Associates, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA, and six years as a professional engineer in China.
He is involved in the design and renovation of educational, industrial, garage, and commercial buildings, including high-rise buildings such as large hotels, condominium/apartment and office buildings. The design systems utilize structural steel, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete, and wood, and it includes structural analysis and design, investigation and evaluation of existing structures for renovation and conversion to other uses, and upgrading of existing structures. In addition, he specializes in using various computer tools and performs lateral analysis for various buildings.
Andy has more than 30-year combined experiences in the building structural design and construction. Andy designed hundreds of high-rise buildings at TCE. Among other engineering skills, he is in charge of steel structural design for all projects at TCE. Mr. Li was a key note speaker at Shanghai International Steel Conference (November 22, 2016) and at ASCE-NCS Construction Committee, Professional Development Session (June 8, 2019).
