The Silverton Condominium (formerly Canada Dry Bottling Plant)
1021 East West Highway, Silver Spring, MD
This project includes 150,000 gsf comprised of 158 apartments in four-stories, wood construction, 3,000 gsf community space, and a 110,000 gsf six level free-standing precast concrete garage.
The original Canada Dry Bottling Plant was designed in 1946. The plant closed in 1999 and was subsquently saved by the Silver Spring Historical Society. The art deco facade and interior of the rotunda were incorporated into what are now The Silverton Condominiums.
