This structure is a one-story warehouse and office facility with a single-ply EPDM membrane on the roof that was in very bad condition. Leakage was occurring through the roof into the warehouse and office spaces below. A complete roof replacement was performed on the building with a fully adhered single-ply PVC membrane.
TCE was hired by the owner to assess the roof condition and develop a replacement program for the roof membrane. A full condition survey was performed on the roof and a single ply PVC roof membrane was determined to be the ideal solution for the owner. TCE prepared bidding specifications and drawings for the roof replacement and bid the project out to roofing contractors. TCE assisted the owner in evaluating the bids and handled all aspects of preparing the construction contract. During construction, TCE was responsible for the contract administration and quality assurance.
