The north building is a six-story 125,000 gsf office building with luxury apartments on the top floor. The Swedish Embassy is a six-story 75,000 gsf office building. This project includes 40,000 gsf below grade parking under both buildings. The exterior skin of the building is clad with screened glass giving a transparent appearance. Structural design consists of post-tensioned reinforced above grade concrete slabs and below grade reinforced concrete. Mat foundation is designed to resist the 100 year flood. Above grade slabs have large cantilevers; some as long as 25 feet and girders have 45 cantilevers. TCE also provided inspection and quality control services of the construction.
