Major renovations and remodeling of the existing 1930's, 53,000 gsf field house included gutting the existing interior while leaving the exterior walls. Additional 5,000 gsf was added including new basement, NCAA regulation court with retractable fixed seating, and compliance with ADA specifications. Sound isolating double CMU walls and a floating floor were necessary for the mechanical equipment room adjacent to the gymnasium. TCE also provided steel roof, truss investigation.
