This 10-story residence hall consists of 136,000 gsf comprising 379-units. Square 103 was constructed on what was previously a surface parking lot. It was the fifth residence hall to be constructed on the GWU campus. The interior accommodates a full range of student residence hall uses and ancillary spaces including one and two bedroom units, community facilitator suites, community director apartments, common study rooms, administrative offices, and community multi-purpose room. Retail and 1,300 gsf of food service areas are on the ground floor. The building is precast concrete frame with the lowest level constructed 20 feet below ground and 11-stories above. A flat plate system with isolated foundation was used. Completed 2006.
