This new facility was set inside a new mixed-use building 14’ below street level. The design provided for a full range of theater-based activities within a three-story, 35,000 gsf space in the heart of the city. The project included a 264-seat courtyard-style theater with a three-sided balcony, a full production shop, 100 seat black box theater/rehearsal hall, classroom space, offices, a shop and two cafes. The walls, stairs, and ceilings were woven within the crude shell.
