The Miami Biscayne Bay Marriott is approximately 25 years old. The hotel consists of a 33-story tower, a parking garage and a 5-story structure. The open plaza level is above the 5-story structure. The plaza level provides an extensive public use area containing sundecks, walkways, swimming pools, outdoor bar, and restroom facilities with numerous open areas and walkways with ramps and steps leading to various elevations. Planters are located throughout the plaza level varying in height, size, and shape. An expansion joint runs between the pool area and outdoor bar. The tower houses the guest rooms, meeting rooms, restaurant and main lobby.
TCE provided extensive repairs to the building facade, balconies, expansion joint, and pool deck waterproofing.
