Eden Roc was designed in 1955. The two ceramic tiled 30 foot wide by 140 foot tall towers framing the front elevation of the Eden Roc hotel in Miami, Florida had become de-bonded requiring complete removal and replacement. TCE’s design re-established the structural integrity of both the tile and the grout by utilizing a vacuum impregnation technique, resulting in a savings to the owner of about two-thirds the initial projected costs and considerable time. Work included repairs and/or replacement of precast and reinforced concrete walls, roof leaks, window caulking, balcony deck coating, and exterior stucco finish.
