Project Overview
Phase I structural engineering to increase the live load capacity of floors 3 through 8 from 60 PSF (office) to 125 PSF (self-storage) for building permit submission. After detailed due diligence evaluating five alternates, the selected Option 3B includes six transfer girders at level 4, selective column and footing strengthening, new footings and grade beams at new column locations, and a full lateral analysis for wind and seismic loading required by the conversion. Scope is through 80% construction drawings for permit submission.
