Project Overview
As part of the ambitious Crystal City redevelopment, TCE provided structural design for the Pavilion Area (Study No. 3). Scope included steel framing for multiple pavilion buildings totaling over 24,000 sf, design of new plaza-level slabs, columns, and foundations, transfer beams to existing structure, new elevators and stairs, and specialized support for sculpture and identifier elements—enhancing the public realm while integrating with the existing garage and plaza.
