Project Overview

The View consists of two new 5-story wood-framed apartment buildings (north and south towers) in Washington, DC, constructed atop a 2-level concrete podium (Type IA construction) for a total of 7 floors. The project includes approximately 237,000 gsf and 278 new dwelling units. Ground floors contain residential lobbies, dwelling units, and approximately 9,000 gsf of residential amenities. A roof terrace and approximately 800 gsf of amenity space are located on the 6th floor of the South tower, along with approximately 4,200 gsf of retail. The buildings are founded on spread footings, with 2.5 levels of underground parking (63,585 gsf per building).
