This renovation project included several tasks: removal of one central column to create a room that is four times larger with new roof at a higher elevation; modification of existing roof joists around the raised roof on four sides; addition of large roof top unit on top of six existing columns and strengthening the columns and footings due to the column removal; addition of new curtain wall for new roof addition; and addition of elevator from basement to the roof.
