Soolmaz Abooali joined TCE & Associates, Inc. in 2018 and serves as President at the firm. Dr. Abooali brings a unique perspective to the field of structural engineering, honed by her experience as a conflict resolution practitioner in academia, government, and non-governmental sectors. Beyond the day-to-day business operations of growing a prestigious firm, Dr. Abooali leads its client relations and marketing efforts to build bridges, not just structures. She is fueled by a passion for developing long-term relationships where trust and delivering results is at the core of each interaction. With these core components, Dr. Abooali enhances TCE’s leading role in ensuring innovative, safe, and economical structures that preserve the past and build the future. In her spare time, Dr. Abooali authors publications, is an adjunct professor of conflict resolution at George Mason University, and a member of the Traditional Karate USA Team. She is currently a 3-time World, 5-time Pan American, and 16-time National Champion in traditional karate. Dr. Abooali lives in Virginia with her husband & two precocious kids.
