Peter Hults joined TCE & Associates, Inc. in 1997. He is currently an Associate with the firm. Pete is involved in the design and renovation of institutional, educational, industrial, garage, and commercial buildings including high-rise buildings such as large hotels, apartment and office buildings. The designed buildings utilized structural steel, reinforced and post- tensioned concrete, wood, and masonry construction. He is involved with the design coordination of the project team in its various phases including the construction administration phase. With his more than 30+ years of experience, he is often the in-house consultant for uncommon engineering subjects. He is an expert on seismic performance, blast analysis, and vibration effects on buildings. While in California, he was involved in seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing facilities. He performed post-earthquake inspection of facilities following the 1994 Northridge earthquake and the 2011 Mineral Virginia Earthquake. He was a member of SEONC Committee that wrote the seismic provisions of the 1997 UBC.
