TCE provided multiple engineering services to this grand hotel. The Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort consists of a large three-wing hotel building with 12 floors of guest rooms. The ballrooms, meeting rooms, and spa are within the lower level structures surrounding the main high rise hotel building. TCE replaced two-thirds of all balcony doors in this building and upgraded it for hurricane design forces. As part of the balcony door replacement, TCE also designed concrete repairs to the spalled and deteriorated balcony slabs and installation of a new coating system to protect the balcony slabs from future deterioration. Repairs were also made to the stucco, columns, facade, flood barrier, roof, lobby windows, expansion joints, fitness center, terrace evaluation, and mezzanine windows.
